坚固的木结
A hard wooden knot
尽管生长在深山，长在深山，从小到大没有见过什么世面，但在他人眼中，他却是最美好的——由于独子，所以一向被爸爸妈妈视为宝物；

可是人这一生总有不如意的事吧，所以出人意料地，次次考试名列第一的他高考却落榜了。

他一会儿从云端跌入了阴间……
He fell from the clouds into hell...
看着整日精神萎顿的儿子，父亲一言不发地把他拉到村后的山上伐树。
Looking at his son, who was depressed all day, his father dragged him to the mountain after the village to cut down trees without saying a word.
锯断一棵棵的大树之后，父亲便让他去整理那些枝枝杈杈，成果他手里的斧头陷在了一个木结处，十分困难才拔出来。
After sawing through the trees, his father told him to clean up the branches, but his axe got stuck in a knot and he had to pull it out.
“爸爸，这个木结怎样这么硬，我的斧头方才都卡住了。”
"Dad, this knot is so hard. My axe just got stuck."
他说。
He said.
“哦，由于那里受过伤。”
"Oh, because it was hurt."
父亲回答道。
"The father replied.
“哦？”
"Oh?"
他有点发楞。
He was a little lost.
“树刚受了伤，就会在受伤的当地结成木结，这木结往往要比其他当地坚固许多。”
"As soon as a tree is hurt, it will form a knot in the place where it is hurt. The knot is often much stronger than in other places."
父亲顿了一顿又说，“人也相同，多摔几跤才干变得刚强。”

父亲的这句话好像闪电一般一下照亮了他的心，他登时愣住了，喃喃自语地说道：“我不能被这个木结卡住行进的脚步。”

个人领会：磨难能让人更刚强。
Personal experience: suffering makes you stronger.
磨难历来都不会毫无意义，它或许消灭人，或许成果人。
Suffering is never meaningless. It can either destroy or make a man.
至于你归于哪一类，就看你能否抬脚挣出磨难的约束。
